03.2022
In the past week, two B-WISE project workshops were held, where the last activities of work package 1, with a deadline of 31 March 2022 respectively, were discussed, and then the next activities of work packages 2 to 10 were explained with relevant presentations and discussions.
All partners participated in group discussion rooms in which they had the opportunity to share experiences and observations about the social and economic framework of the Social Enterprise model (class A and A+), the legislative and administrative bureaucracy that accompany socially responsible employers and their activities in Bulgaria.
Part of the upcoming tasks is the finalization of the so-called Country fiche report for each of the participating countries, which is a de facto mapping and characterization of WISE sectors and sub-sectors for each project partner country. (Task 1.2 For the preliminary analysis of WISEs and the institutional context). Additional mapping of skills needs and gaps, especially in the digital domain, was carried out in the WISEs sector across Europe – covering the three target groups (field studies in 13 participating countries). Between 28 September and 30 November 2021, an empirical analysis was carried out using questionnaires developed by EURICSE with the support of partners. The empirical analysis is complete: 403 questionnaires were collected through face-to-face interviews and 175 through the online survey (Task 1.3 Mapping of skill needs and gaps, especially in digital area).
