On 17 of January, NASOR participated in the first General Assembly meeting of the Federation of European Social Employers for 2023, which took place in Brussels, Belgium.
Being a member of FESE provides our organization with the tools to implement the European Care Strategy in Bulgaria, to improve social workers` skills and working conditions as well as to take part in important social activities, study visits and researches across the EU. The agenda of the FESE members included several important topics:
1. Memberships Updates – two new candidates from Malta and Cyprus applied to become part of FESE. More organizations tend to join the federation.
2. Budget and Workplan for 2023 were voted and adopted.
3. Current projects and future opportunities were discussed.
4. Policy update was provided on the Sectoral Dialogue Committee (SSDC), European Care Strategy and the European Year of Skills
The team of NASOR expects 2023 to be very fruitful and focused on the development of Social dialogue and sectoral cooperation for skills in the long-term care in Bulgaria. Our joint initiatives during the year will continue our mission of identifying the social workers` needs and establishing appropriate care strategy to raise public awareness and improve the social sector`s attractiveness.
