NASO took part in the Membership Forum on Employment, organized by the European Association of Social Service Providers EASPD, which took place on 3 May. More than 30 participants from different European countries were present, as well as Mr. Georgi Georgiev – Chairman of NASO.
The participants in the forum discussed the topics of the European Strategy on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The discussion was related to how the membership forum can contribute to facilitating the implementation of the strategy.
Other highlights of the online event were the annual report on labor and employment, support for open labor market employment and the creation of better jobs for people with disabilities in the social economy. An action plan under the Social Rights Pillar and others was proposed. The meeting continued with an open discussion, where everyone shared their views on successful cooperation.
