The general aim of B-WISE project is to develop and implement a new strategic approach (Blueprint) to sectoral cooperation on skills needed to reinforce the empowering work of WISEs in strengthening the skills and competences of disadvantaged groups and to sustainably tackle the digitalisation challenges they face. The project will achieve it by building a sustainable European Sectoral Skills Strategy for the WISEs sector that brings together all stakeholders to undertake transformational change. This Alliance will create more informed intersectoral collaboration between WISEs sector representatives, VET providers and authorities and pursue the following specific objectives.
The purpose of the Project Management Plan is to provide a single point of reference on the structures, procedures, and tools that will help to govern and manage the B-WISE project. This document should be a handbook to be accessed frequently by partners to understand the management procedures of this project.
Procedures for preparation and submission of deliverables, internal progress reporting, meetings, and management of risks are described. Finally, key tools are listed which will primarily be used to manage and share project documents, and to assign and monitor tasks; project registries and other internal records; and communication. Templates have been defined to facilitate the project team in preparing internal and external project documentation. This document will be reviewed and updated as necessary with the implementation of the project and will be stored on Teams.
- To develop a common methodology for assessing the current situation and anticipating future needs
- To identifying existing and emerging sector-specific labour market needs (demand side) and to analyse the responsiveness of existing initial and continuing VET systems to the labour market needs (supply side).
- To identify, document and promote good practices at national and regional level aiming at addressing skills shortages and mismatches as well as fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships
- To identify occupational profiles that need to be revised or created and their corresponding skill needs as well as the required proficiency level
- To respond to identified skills needs (especially in digital area) through recommendations to create/update transnational vocational training content, as well as teaching and training methodologies
- To produce a credible & sustainable plan on how to match demand and supply of identified skills
- To build a strong and sustainable community supporting an alliance to reduce skill shortages, gaps and mismatches and to ensure appropriate quality and level of skills to support growth, innovation and competitiveness in the sector
- To design a long-term action plan for the progressive roll-out of the Sectorial Skills Strategy after the project has finished.
- To promote the attractiveness of the WISE sector as a career choice and to raise awareness on the importance of the use of digital technologies to support disadvantaged groups in work placement
