Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We would like to invite you to participate in the National Social Service Providers Forum & Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB), the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), Varna Municipality and the National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO). The Forum is aiming to provide a platform and opportunity to present the social services themselves, their team members and their clients, and to outline the main directions in their future development based on their experience and best practices.
The four-day programme of the Forum will provide the participants with many opportunities for building national and European partnerships, exchanging best practices, holding discussions, making recommendations on European and national strategies, putting questions, getting answers, and others. Several discussion panels will be held within the programme, including a reception hall of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. Key priority and focus areas of the Forum will be the topics of social services, the participation of persons with disabilities in the open labour market, aiming at the development of the social sector, promoting the personal development of people in need of support. The agenda will include other interesting topics such as exchange of good practices across Europe and Bulgaria, the responsibilities of local authorities and their partnerships to support the development of employment, social services and social inclusion, European and national partnerships, actions under the European Semester.
As part of the Forum there will be held an Exhibition of products and services implemented by social service providers, who will be given a space for show stands, aimed at demonstrating their best practices, exchanging experience and achieving development of social services as a tool for developing employability skills and opportunities for social entrepreneurship.
Within the Forum, managements, representatives and experts from all institutions and stakeholders involved in the field of social policies and social services, including representatives and experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, municipalities, the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities, the Agency for Social Assistance, the National Alliance for social Responsibility, and other bodies, will work together to produce the desired results and build up beneficial partnerships.
The invitation to participate in the Forum is addressed to team members, people with disabilities in their capacity as social service users, representatives of municipalities and NGO social service providers, employers, representatives of social entrepreneurship and CSR sector and other stakeholders.
