The Forum programme includes a Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) as well as a Ceremony for Giving Anniversary National Awards.

Ruse University “Angel Kanchev” becomes NASO member
On May 19, 2016 in the building of Ruse University a meeting of representatives of Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" and National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) was held and meeting participants finalized the papers for the University membership in NASO. Prof. Dr. Velizara Pentcheva, University Rector and Georgi Georgiev, NASO president signed the documents.
On behalf of the University Prof. Dr. Diana Antonova, Deputy Rector, Assoc. Prof. Alex Nunev, speaker in "Public Health and Social Services", Katya Petrova, Head of Social Activities Department of Ruse Municipality and on behalf of NASO - Mr. Georgi Georgiev, NASO President, Ms Margarita Sabeva and Ms Eleonora Petrova – NASO representatives for Ruse, also attended the meeting. The discussion included key highlights for the future partnership between NASO and Ruse University. The parties expressed a mutual consent on the wide opportunities of necessary and expected partnership in many directions. The short term focus was set on joint initiatives aimed at preparing students in social services and mutual activities in this area, participation in events and not lastly, partnership and support to the active work of the Social Worker Club to the University. The need for development of CSR in Bulgaria was agreed to be an important goal in the future joint work. Participants shared specific achievements and plans for work in these areas whereas future collaboration would contribute to greater social significance and results in Bulgaria. Parties expressed mutual interest in active international activity, which also would be a good prerequisite for future mutual support. They discussed and agreed on future short- and long-term activities, as well as events in which both sides will realize joint participation.
