Training in Pazardzhik on Mobile Work in Social Services
On March 23, 2016 in Pazardzhik a training workshop on Mobile work in social services was held. The training was organized by the representation of the National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) for the region of Pazardzhik - Crime Prevention Fund IGA, in cooperation with the municipality of Pazardjik. Experts and team members of social services across the country attended the training. Traning speakers were Ms. Valentina Gesheva, CPF – IGA and regional representative of NASO for Pazardzhik and Ms. Viara Smilenova – regional coordinator of the Agency for Social Sssistance for Pazardjik. Ms. Dimitriya Cerova, Director of Social Activities Directorate welcomed the participants and presented the traditional policy of the Municipality for the development and improvement of the partnership in the field of social services and improvement of quality of social support.
During the training the participants got acquainted with the nature, objectives and tasks of the mobile social work. Various stages of the mobile social work and the need for compliance with the principles of safety and professional ethics of behavior and actions was pointed out. Different models of mobile work were presented and a recommendation for establishment of an internal evaluation system of the mobile work was made. The speakers pointed out the need of customized approaches in mobile work depending on the target groups. Maintaining adequate records and track of results for mobile social work is also an integral part of the activities. In the second part of the training various practical exercises were implemented and that allowed exchange of knowledge and experiences between the participants about activities and stages in the mobile social work. All attendees were extremely active and assessed the training highly positive. The participants also recommended the topic to continued and include mobile social work in the Draft Law on Social Services.
During the preliminary organization of the training NASO has registered extremely high interest in the topic and for this reason, a new training on the same topic will be organised whereas all interested parties will be furtherly informed.
